Job Summary
We are searching for a tenacious, perceptive Associate Lawyer to assist with managing
a diverse portfolio of clients. The Associate Lawyer's responsibilities include interacting
with clients to understand their needs, choosing the most appropriate course of
action, and conveying clients’ interests at meetings and in court. During the process,
you will be required to collaborate with and report to the Attorney in charge of each
case.

Your key area of responsibilities
You will be helping small businesses to succeed by:
- Providing advice on a variety of employment-related issues
- Reviewing and drafting documents, such as employment agreements and independent contractor agreements
- Workplace investigations
- Litigation
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in Ontario (other Canadian jurisdictions would be a bonus)
- Experience in labour law is an asset
- 3 - 5 years of experience in employment law, employer-side preferred
- Tech-savvy
- Self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative
- Team player with a keen interest in business
- Process-oriented
- Curious
- Great listener and communicator
